Paving Superintendent

Responsibilities

As the Superintendent, you will play a critical role in overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in asphalt or concrete paving. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Leading, supervising, and coordinating the activities of project teams, including subcontractors and labor forces, to ensure efficient and safe project execution.
• Planning and scheduling project tasks, resources, and equipment to meet project timelines and budgets.
• Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and alignment of project goals.
• Enforcing and promoting strict adherence to safety regulations and company policies.
• Conducting regular site visits and inspections to ensure work is being carried out in compliance with plans, specifications, and industry standards.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date project documentation, reports, and records.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Superintendent
• Asphalt or Concrete paving experience is a requirement.
• Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and documents.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• OSHA certification or other relevant safety certifications preferred.
