With projects spanning commercial developments, single-family and multi-family housing, and public sector work, this company is known for delivering high-quality underground utility solutions that include water, sewer, storm systems, and related civil scopes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop accurate cost estimates for utility construction projects up to $20M

• Calculate labor, materials, and equipment costs for all bid elements

• Interpret construction drawings and identify potential site risks

• Recommend value-engineering strategies when appropriate

• Ensure constructability and feasibility through thorough takeoffs and bid analysis

• Collaborate with project managers and operations teams to align estimates with field execution

What You'll Bring

• Minimum 5 years of estimating experience in heavy civil or underground utility construction

• Direct experience pricing scopes such as water, storm, sanitary sewer, duct banks, and concrete structures

• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word

• Familiarity with estimating tools like HCSS, Bluebeam, or Planswift is a plus

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not required)

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
